The Necessity of a Launcher
The Necessity of a Launcher
In the world of defensive weapons; there are missiles. Missiles are absolutely amazing! They can be used on long range targets or close up; they can bring down an aircraft, sink a warship or destroy another missile; they can perform in a combination of applications such as: surface to surface, surface to air, or air to air. The issue with missiles is that they must have a launcher.
"Useless without a Launcher"
They are useless without a launcher. That's correct; all that potential just sitting there absolutely useless without a means of launching it. The launcher is never mentioned as the means that destroyed the enemy, yet is it just as important as the missile itself; A missile and a launcher are a team, an inseparable team.
The Lord had brought this to my attention recently, as it goes along with the Word of God.
The Word of God was launched by God in the creation;
"And God said, Let there be light: and there was light." (Genesis 1:3)
The Word of God was launched by the Prophet:
"Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord." (Ezekiel 37:4)
Look at how important the launcher of our tongue is:
"Death and life are in the power of the tongue:..." (Proverbs 18:21)
The centurion knew how powerful words are when you have authority:
"The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed." (Matthew 8:8)
God has given his word to all mankind; however they must used correctly.
The words written in the bible are of little value just sitting there collecting dust, they must be launched by a tongue! The spoken word of God is powerful.
There was man whose elderly mother was at a hospital in a coma; he flew in from out of state to visit her. He arrived at the hospital and located the room then went in; other family members were there and the mood was depressing; he grabbed a chair and sat down next to her head, then talked to her: " Mom, this is your son, I'm going to read the bible to you; " as he commenced reading the word of God, it wasn't long she opened her eyes and started talking to him! she came out of the comma!
Just speaking the Word has power.
God is looking for you to be a vessel to launch his word. His word is like a missile that destroys the lies of the enemy, breaks the chains of fear and sets the captives free! The word is the missile your tongue is the launcher, they are an inseparable team.
Speak it; Proclaim it; Declare it!!
